Climatic zones

When selecting winter clothing, find out whether it is possible to wear it in your climatic zone. It is important to remember that the clothing recommended for a specific climatic zone shall meet the requirements of heat protection properties stated in TR CU 019/2011.

As per GOST R 12.4.236-2011 (russian analogue of EN), heat-insulated outfit is divided into four protection classes depending on the climatic zones of the Russian Federation.

Note: requirements are prescribed with due regard to the execution of medium-hard (130 W/sq.m) physical work by a human and duration of the continuous stay in the cold within two hours.
