Construction: features impact-resistant shell made of TermotreK® and equipped with a cast headlamp holder as well as with an improved fixing point for a headlamp cable. Additional reinforcing rib increases impact resistance. A shortened brim enhances the wearer's field of vision. Contains an internal cloth-tape shock absorber with 8 attachment points.
Features 3 helmet harness height adjustments and hooks for cape attachment. The helmet is equipped with a soft seal and textile chin strap with two attachment points.
The unsurpassed distinguishing advantage of the "SOMZ-55 RAPID" Series helmets is the unique design of the internal RAPID fit-out allowing for smooth and accurate adjustment of head harness size (51-65 cm) for secure helmet application on the head of the wearer. Design allows for the use of additional PPE: earmuffs, face shields, welder's helmets and helmet liner.
Protective properties: intended to provide head protection for miners, drillers and shaft personnel who are engaged in underground works, providing protection against moisture, dust, and voltages of up to 1500VDC and up to 1000VAC.
