The collar is made of 2.0–2.2 mm thick polyurethane coated genuine leather resistant to chemicals, such as oil, petrochemicals, acids and alkaline solutions with a concentration of up to 20%. Secure genuine leather tongue is topstitched on the front part to protect against moisture, dirt and dust penetration inside and not to let them build up in folds of the tongue inside the boot. Reinforced large eyelets enable easy lacing and enhance durability of accessories.
The composite toe cap protects the forefoot against impacts of 200 J (MIL 200).
The metal-free midsole is made of material reinforced with DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fiber providing protection against punctures and cuts (puncture resistance 1200 N minimum).
Removable insole consists of two layers: the upper layer is made of needled cloth and natural sheep wool, and the bottom layer features a 4 mm thick foamed ethylenevinyl acetate (EVA) material, which provides the necessary heat insulation and transports moisture.
The galosh is made of frost-resistant nitrile rubber and is resistant to aggressive chemicals, such as oils, petrochemicals, acid and alkaline solutions with a concentration of up to 20%. The outsole provides good adhesion to frozen surfaces.
The boots are delivered with multi-layer removable stockings. The layers are composed of polyester needled cloth, fleece with an additional polyurethane layer, wool fabric and metallized film, which provides a high level of cold-insulation. These materials are breathable, wear resistant and provide very good thermal insulation.
The seams connecting the galosh with the collar of the boot are reliably sealed.
The boots are recommended for 1A (special climate zone) and 1B (climate zone IV) climate zones when completed with the outfit providing necessary thermal insulation for outdoor jobs involving moderate intensity physical labor for continuous exposure in cold conditions for 2 hours maximum. (Pursuant to Methodological Instructive Regulations MUK 4.3.1901-04 approved by the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation as of March 03, 2004 Methodology of thermal insulating capability measurement of head, foot, hand personal protective equipment for compliance with hygienic requirements.) These regulations are relevant to the footwear with comparatively dry inner surface.
Recommended for oil-and-gas industry and for work in hard conditions.
