KBTM VISION TERMO hard hat attachable face shield is intended for works at blast furnaces, steel-melt and other industrial furnaces, providing protection against disability glare, IR-radiation and high temperature.

Features:

• The shield is made of impact resistant, heat-resistant polycarbonate coated with golden reflective finish.
• The thermal energy reduction is 90%.
• The temperature behind the shield (from the face side) during work at blast furnaces does not exceed 45 °C.
• Protection against disability glare, the shading grade is 5/4-5.
• Optical class 1.
• The shield is elongated to provide additional protection of the neck and upper chest against mechanical impact and high temperature (up to 250 °С).
• The shield is attached to the hard hat attachment point with special polyamide screws and nuts allowing to increase a working lifespan of the shield in high temperature environment.
• The shield is attached to the hardhat by lifting and retaining device made of cold- and heat-resistant material which also has a property of wear-resistance and guarantees secure application of face shield in two positions, up and down.

ROSOMZ® recommends to provide a gentle care for the shield, the unique coating should not be rubbed.
